I enjoyed Tate and Chase’s story, book two in the Food Truck Warriors series. This second-chance, fake-relationship, bi-awakening romance was sweet and angsty enough to keep me invested in the MCs budding relationship.
I appreciated the author’s handling of mental health issues and therapy, real issues faced by people every day, even famous athletes. Characters from Kitchen Gods and The Riptide series appear throughout and, while I haven’t read either series, I wasn’t lost.
